Binissalem produces some fine woodwork and stonework, with many shops and workshops to pick up a truly original souvenir from the original artist, be it pottery, sculpture, paintings or cloth. The market here is held on Fridays in the main square. There are over 70 vineyards on the island, the oldest being Bodegas Ribas, in Consell, just south of Binissalem. It is located in one of the listed stately homes from the 18th century. Wine production began in 1711 by Pedro Ribas de Cabrera, an ancestor of the current owner. One of their best wines is the Sió. The last weekend in September sees the wine festival here. For around 10€ you are given a wine glass and can try some of the best wines on the island. We also deliver and collect from Palma Airport
