About Estellencs

Rustic village on the slopes of mount Puig de Galatzo

Estellencs is situated on the coastline of the Tramuntana mountains between Andratx and Banyalbufar and is peaceful and tranquil, far removed from the busy tourist resorts. The road to reach the village is a typical windy mountain road which leads upwards and rewards you at the top with stunning views of the sea and mountains. It is a popular place with cyclists and the main source of income is still agriculture. It is also the perfect starting point for many hikes and cycling tours. One of the best hikes will take you to the Puig de Galatzo which, with its altitude of 1,026 m, offers an amazing view over Mallorca.
