About Galatzo

A small residential town famous for the nearby nature reserve

Galatzo itself is a residential town built in the 1970s. The nearby Reserva Puig de Galatzo is a wonderful nature reserve with spectacular scenery and vegetation. Here you can find waterfalls and caves as well as animals including three brown bears, ostriches, emus, deers, wild donkeys, peacocks, and geese and ducks. There is a barbecue and picnic area as well as an adventure circuit including a zip wire.
